I have been making jewellery since 1977. A frighteningly long time! Yet my love of creating small editions and one-off pieces in gold and silver has not waned. All my pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.

I trained at the City of London Polytechnic (now London Metropolitan University) and after graduating I worked at the Design Council for ten years where I became Head of Awards and Exhibitions. I then spent 18 wonderful years running A.P.T, a charity in Deptford, South East London that supports 42 studios, a contemporary art gallery, a working sculpture yard and an external performance space.

Since moving to Whitstable in 2022 and setting up a Jewellery studio and a Ceramics studio I find that I am now able to devote a little more time to my practice. I have recently started working in clay again, having first discovered it forty years ago during my degree. It is comforting to come back to using clay after so long.
