I work in silver and gold, creating small editions and one-off pieces of jewellery. My range includes pendants, necklaces, earrings, bangles and rings. I occasionally make cufflinks, brooches and bracelets. All my pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office, unless the piece has too many mixed metal elements such as copper.

I create textures into the surface of my jewellery, generally by reticulation but I often roll, emboss and forge the metal. Mark-making, impressions and fine details are important to me and I combine these surface finishes with applied detail, normally gold elements.

I develop, design and make a new range of work every six months or so. Each piece of work tends to lead into the next so my practice is continually evolving. In recent years I have launched a new range at Dulwich Artists Open House (every May) where I exhibit with photographer, Chris Sowe.

I trained at The Cass, London Metropolitan University and this was followed by 10 years working at the Design Council. I spent a few years teaching and then 18 years running APT Gallery and Studios. Now, 2021 I am devoting more time to my practice.
